Rhetoric workshop "Speak Up"

Beside business research contexts have a constant demand for effective and persuasive communication in order to share information, spread results and affect others.

This seminar develops vital rhetoric skills that enable students to perform confidently in a variety of situations be they scientific discussions, business conversations and presentations or other situations of speaking in front of others.

Doctoral students will learn to clarify their purpose, explore their audience`s needs and expectations, build strong argumentation, chose words of power, create dynamic narrative and develop performance techniques involving body, voice and stage presence. They will get used to handling adversity with calm and ultimately gain greater leadership by communicating in a way that makes sense to other people.
