Supplemental Study Program - details

Our iRTG is very interdisciplinary from the projects followed to the people involved. For this reason it might be of interest for doctoral students to deepen their understanding in topics related to the iRTG (and maybe not covered during their Masters education). And make use of the multitude of classes and modules offered in Halle and Leipzig.

As our Collaborative Research Program is bridging both universities, doctoral students enjoy the freedom to visit courses at both institutions and make use of the credits earned.

The supplied shortlist of lectures origins from the portfolio of MLU an UL, which we feel they might be of interest. Have a look! If you find a course not listed, which fits your scientific interests and  eeds, feel free to contact us. The same is true, if it is a course not offered at MLU or UL.

Important points to accredit lectures

(a) You have to get a formal statement from the lecturing person, that you visited the course on a regular basis. Forms are available through the SFB office.

(b) If wanted/ needed a graded certificat ('Schein') will be handed out from SFB office and the lecturer. For the details of passing the test, please contact the lecturing person at the beginning of the course.
